Across the STIP Manager, many tables will be viewable to the user. While the tables have a default sorting system, many of the tables also allow the user to edit the way information is displayed. Below is an example of a table that could be stored in the STIP Manager; the red box indicates the table's column headers-- the available categories for sorting table information.
Initially, the information will be sorted in ascending order (A to Z) on the table based on the first header. This will be indicated by an arrow symbol, known as a caret, pointed upward. In the example above, the table defaults to sorting in ascending order by "STIP Name," the first header on the table. To change the sorting direction, the user can click either the header name or the caret, and the caret will change direction to the downward position, indicating the descending order (Z to A) of the table. The first header is the only one that shows the caret when the user first views the table; however, the other headers will display a caret if the user clicks on that header. When another header is selected to change the sorting order, the former sorting order is discarded, and the information is automatically updated to display the new sorting order.
