The Pre-Approved tab serves as the step between Staging and adding the changes to the Revision. Users with the STIP Administrator or Optional Actions Pre-Approved permissions will have control over the items here and their statuses. The displayed projects can be adjusted with the given filters which resemble those on the Staging tab, with the addition of the Major and Minor Amendment checkboxes. Both checkboxes will be selected automatically, but the user can uncheck one of the boxes depending on their needs.
Viewing
The Pre-Approved tab allows users to view many components of a project. However, one unique viewing experience offered in the Pre-Approved tab is found in the "Change Comments" hyperlink provided under each project table. This hyperlink leads to a pop-up window which showcases the relevant pending changes and their comments. If a user selects a row on this window, the associated comments will be viewable at the bottom of the interface if its content is longer than the input field.
Actions
Beyond the view-only "Change Comments," users can add an Item N Comment which will be presented on the Item N Handout draft and Item N Final reports. Only one Item N Comment can be added on the Pre-Approved tab. The user must choose from a picklist of pre-defined comments in order to add one. This simply means that a comment outline will appear with editable details.
Users with the appropriate permissions can also edit the project Actions/status in the Pre-Approved tab. Under the "Actions" column on the project tables, there are four available options in the dropdown menu:
- Withdraw - Moves the changes back to Staging.
- Add to Revision - Moves the changes to the Revisions tab to await possible addition to a previously created STIP Revision.
- Add to NEW Revision -Moves the changes to the Revisions tab to await possible addition to a newly created STIP Revision represented by the next month after the current open revisions.
- <blank> - Performs no action and leaves the change within the Change table; default option.
As in the Staging tab, users can select an action in the "Action to Take (for all blanks)" to cover all pending changes; this prevents excessive manual selection if all projects require the same response.
