The Projects interface contains four tabs which provide extended information on STIP projects. The first tab, fittingly named "Projects," holds all the projects in the selected STIP and can be filtered based on search criteria offered in the Quick and Advanced Search options. This tab is in table formatting, offering the STIP ID, Mode, Route/Facility, Description, Division, MPO/RPO, County, STIP Funded Category, Total Programmed, Right of Way (ROW) Start, and Construction (CON) Start for each project listed.
Actions Available
Through this tab, the user can add projects to the STIP. The "Add New Project" box located in the top right corner of the interface allows users to compose a new project by entering data on the proposed addition. Selecting the box will open a different window which guides the user through inputting the necessary project information in steps; dropdown menus are provided when applicable. As the user completes the various steps for adding a new project, they will notice that they are merely composing the project's Details tab from scratch. However, they will do this in steps to prevent the process from being too overwhelming. Once completed, users can select "Save and Finish" at the bottom of the interface which will trigger a message confirming its creation.
If the user wishes to modify information on a current project, the user can click on its STIP ID which leads them to the Details tab. The Details tab will enable modification to the project status, revision, mode, funding program, SPOT ID, locations, phases, funding, prioritization, and comments. These sections allow the user to click on the intended field and edit it directly; users can also utilize the handy "Add [Items]" buttons located below each applicable table.
