Overview

Users can search for specific STIP projects on the Map interface in the STIP Viewer. The blue bar containing the application title-- STIP Viewer-- and some icons also displays five filter boxes which are centered. These boxes allow users to define a query for STIP projects by using one, or a combination of, the Search STIP Projects filter options. The image below shows the format of these filters.

As clearly represented by the down arrows, the County, Division, and MPO/RPO filters are picklists that allow users to select an option from all those available. However, the Route/Facility and STIP ID categories are free-form text boxes that prompt users to manually type in an appropriate search request for the associated category.

Results

Once the user fills their desired filter boxes, they can select the "Find" button. This action removes non-applicable projects from the map and adds the results with only the selected guidelines to the map. A table containing information about each mapped project will appear below the map.
