The STI Analysis tab has four major areas: (1) The Header, (2) The Graphs, (3) The Fiscal Constraint Table, and (4) The Lower Hyperlinks.
Components
The Header of the STI Analysis tab hosts the STIP selection button and the "Exclude Projects subject to Reprioritization" checkbox. The former is a button viewable on both tabs in the Dashboard module; however, the latter is unique to the STI Analysis tab. This checkbox allows the analysis to be narrowed to only display projects that are not set to the prioritization status of "Will be Reprioritized."
The Graphs are the main focus of this tab. They showcase the STI category (Statewide, Regional, and Division), percent difference, amount available, and visual. More specifics on the Regional and Division categories can be found in the details dropdown; the Detail Window section will cover this further.
The Fiscal Constraint Table remains static throughout the user's viewing of the STI Analysis tab. The table is located at the bottom left corner of the window. This element is a hyperlink which can be expanded by clicking on the title, and it can be collapsed by selecting the "Hide Table" hyperlink.
Finally, the Lower Hyperlinks refer to the "Print with Iframe," "Print," and "Open in Excel" buttons located on the right corner of the interface. These options provide a paper view of the information on the graphs, and they can be saved or printed for further use.
Graphs
There are two STI Analysis graphs on this tab: 5-year and 10-year. Each of these graphs has their own set of data which is conveyed in numerical and visual forms. While the numerical data is rather straightforward, the visual portion requires some explanation to clarify the meaning of each color. The graph displayed next to each record will represent the Programmed Amount as compared to the Adjusted Total for the applicable period. The provided table outlines each color and its meaning.
| Color | Meaning |
| Blue | The percentage of the Adjusted Total that has been programmed. |
| Green | An area is under-programmed but within the legal threshold; indicates the percentage of the Adjusted Total remaining to be programmed (Amount Available). |
| Orange | An area is over-programmed but within the legal threshold; indicates the percentage over the Adjusted Total. |
| Red | An area is either under or over the legal threshold; indicates either the Amount Available or the Amount over the Adjusted Total. |
Detail Window
In order to view more details on certain regions and divisions, the user must navigate to the detail window on the interface. The symbol will allow the user to expand the details of the given section and year plan; if the symbol is in that position, with the arrow pointed right, the details are collapsed. If the user clicks on this symbol and the arrow points downward, the details will expand.
Note: If you are confused on the STI Analysis or Details Window table categories, see this article.
