The legend located on the left side of the application allows additional layering to be placed on top of the map display. The options in the legend range from county boundaries to bridges, and they are primarily used for viewing purposes. There is no limit to the number of layering options you can place on top of each other; just be aware that excessive layering may make reading the map harder for users. The user can opt to uncheck a layer at any point in their viewing and editing process.
Collapsing the Legend
If a user prefers to not use the legend items or wishes to merely take them out of view, they can click the arrow/caret located on the right side of the legend box. This is easy for users to remember, for they can hover their mouse over this arrow to view the "Collapse Legend" message.
Zoom
Nearby to this resource are a stacked plus and minus sign enclosed in boxes. These are the normal zooming functions which bring the map closer or farther away from the users' view.
