The title of the report itself-- Project Comparison-- indicates its function. Through this Simple Report, the user can compare the differences in projects between two STIPs. This report is also found in the Standard Reports tab; the main difference between the two is that the Simple report option does not include a funding table for each project.
Filters
The filters for the Project Comparison table have some specific rules attached to them that are important for the user to understand. The table below breaks down the filter categories and their details.

| STIP |
This field contains the STIP selected from the main interface. Users will have to make a new selection on the main menu of the application to change the STIP. |
| STIP Revision | For Active, Board Approved, or Historical STIPs, this field will be a picklist of all Revisions related to that STIP and will default to the latest approved Revision. Otherwise, this field will be blank and disabled for STIPs that do not track Actions (i.e., Future STIP or Scenario). |
| STIP to Compare | A picklist of all STIPs that the user has view access to; will be used for the comparison. This field is required. |
| STIP to Compare Revision | For Active, Board Approved, or Historical STIPs, this field will be a picklist of all Revisions related to that STIP and will default to the latest approved Revision. | Location Filters |
A picklist that allows the user to select the Location filters that they wish to use.

The multiple select categories in the Location Filters will have an associated pop-up window with two sides: Available and Current. The "Available" side has a list of items that can be checked. Once an item is checked, it will move to "Current" to show the user which items were chosen and will populate the report. By deselecting a checkbox, the user is removing the item from the "Current" side and the report.
Report
The Project Comparison Report will be grouped and sorted by Division, County, Mode, and STIP ID. Each project will have a Project Header row that includes the STIP ID, Mode, and Funding Program associated with the project. They will also have a report footer will contain a “Generated on Date” in the bottom left and the "Page X of XX" details in the bottom right.
